The Antech Winder mk1 is a custom build automation solution for the production of filament samples that are used in the 3D printing industry.

Our customer was looking for an automation solution for their process of realising filament samples out of different materials, lengths per sample and quantities. After presenting a concept proposal to the customer, Antech designed, developed and build what eventually became the Winder mk1 completely in-house. 

With the user friendly UI on the touch-screen the operator can choose the length per sample and quantities to produce. During the process, over 15 different sensors are monitoring all the movements for reliability.
